New Timor Leste coach Anotonio Carlos Viera believe that Timor Leste will have bright future in football. The 52-year-old was formally unveiled as the successor to Pedro Almeid at a press conference yesterday, after finalising a two-year contract with the Federacao de Futebol de Timor Leste (FFTL).Viera’s primary task is to salvage the team’s 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup qualifying campaign, which Timor Leste need to qualify and win every three games.
“Having only only one point is not good enough. We still have the possibility to reverse things. Our mission is difficult but anything is possible. There is quality and motivation within the team.”
